Good morning, River of Life Family!

As we say goodbye to 2008 - The year of new beginnings…
We look back with sincere thanksgiving unto the Lord for the many opportunities of growth and victories we have become a part of. And true to what is written in Philippians 1:6, 'we are confident that He who begun a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.'

Looking forward to 2009.. JESUS is the same yesterday, today and forever. His unfailing love for us, His children, is not affected by the world's economic condition and inevitable uncertainties.

GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US. NEVER will He leave us. NEVER will He forsake us. So… stand fast in the Lord.
He never lies… so if He promised not to harm you but prosper you to give you hope and a future… consider these 3 tips for 2009:

SUCCESS TIP #1: DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY & THANKFUL AND THE BLESSING OF UNEXPLAINABLE PEACE WILL OVERPOWER YOU.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The LORD is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present you requests to GOD. And the peace of GOD which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS." Philippians 4:4-7

SUCCESS TIP #2: YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT. DIGEST… & JUST DO IT !

"Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." Joshua 1:8

TIP # 3: DO NOT FEAR THE NEW YEAR… ABIDE IN THE TRUE VINE & YOU'LL BE FINE. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; Do not be discouraged, for the LORD your GOD will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 "Apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:5

Let us not conform any longer to the patterns of this world… BE TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND to be able to test God's will.
